Coimbatore City Municipal CorporationThe Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation is the civic body that plays an important part in governing the entire city. Moreover, the corporation has divided the city into 72 wards and they have grouped these wards into four Zonal Ward Committees. This government corporation is headed by a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the Commissioner.
